Amy Crafton
Amy Nicole Crafton, 34, of Fairland, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at her residence.
Born Sept. 24, 1976, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Thomas and Sandra (Mullins) Crafton, and they survive.
Other survivors include her grandmother, Carolyn Crafton; brother, Joe Crafton; sister, Stacy Crafton (fiance, Wyatt Ash), all of Fairland; four nieces and nephews, Payton Crafton, Deejay Crafton, Gavin Crafton and Rowan Ash; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Crafton, and by grandparents Noble and Esta Mullins.
Amy was a lifetime resident of Fairland.
She was a 1995 graduate of Triton Central High School and was also a graduate of Indiana Business college. She was an active student at Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus.
Amy was a member of Northwood Christian Church in Fairland.
She was very involved in Relay for Life.
Amy was a very giving person. She loved her family, attending school, baking, reading and spending time with friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
Services will be at the funeral home Friday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Gary Strange officiating.
Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery, in Fairland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amy N. Crafton Memorial fund or Ovarian Cancer Alliance, in care of Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

I only knew her from our online conversations but she seemed like a lovely person and sadly I also lost my mom to this horrible disease
